Francis Martin works as a full time artist from his studio at home in Bristol, England.

 

In his work he celebrates the character of ‘ordinary’ people and everyday events, in this he strives to capture the fleeting expressions that define the subject's personality.

 

Although always ready to experiment with media and colour, Francis works primarily in oils, enjoying its range and the subtlety of colour it allows.
